Carly Thorp

Carly Thorp is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). She transitioned from a decade-long career as a corporate statistician to academia, driven by a passion for teaching engineers statistical methodologies. Her roles include undergraduate and graduate instructor, statistics minor advisor, and part-time PhD candidate in Learning Sciences.
