Carly Jacobs

Dr Carly Jacobs is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University, part of the School of Psychology under the Faculty of Health and Education. She specializes in health psychology, chronic conditions, and patient engagement, with a focus on Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). Her work bridges clinical practice and research, emphasizing health communication and quality of life improvements. Jacobs holds a PhD in Health Psychology and has been recognized for her teaching and research excellence, including a Students’ Union award (2021) and an Exemplary Researcher Award (2012).
