Carly Demopoulos

Dr. Carly Demopoulos is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), with a joint appointment in Radiology. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroscience at UCSF. Her research focuses on sensorimotor mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders (ASD), employing multimodal neuroimaging, behavioral, and neuropsychological approaches. Key areas include speech and voice characteristics, sensory-motor control, and neural connectivity in ASD.
