Carly Chandler

Carly Chandler serves as a Lecturer in the Biology Department at the University of North Georgia. She teaches BIOL 1101K (Biology - A Human Perspective) and BIOL 2251K (Human Anatomy & Physiology I) courses across the institution's campuses, with her office located in the Student Resource Center, room 556, on the Oconee campus.

Chandler's research focuses on ecosystem stability through market-based incentives and the study of neotropical migrants. Her academic philosophy centers on empowering students with biological knowledge to advocate effectively for personal health, community health, and ecosystem health. She approaches biology education with a practical emphasis, connecting biological concepts to real-world health applications and environmental stewardship.

Within UNG's Biology program, Chandler contributes to multiple pre-professional advising tracks including Pre-Medicine, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Pharmacy, and other healthcare-related pathways that prepare students for advanced professional studies.
