Alex Lowrey, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of North Georgia. He teaches courses in human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and disease mechanisms, integrating clinical and public health applications into his pedagogy. Dr. Lowrey holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Illinois State University.
