Carlton A. Evans

Carlton A. Evans is a Professor of Global Health at Imperial College London's Department of Infectious Disease, Faculty of Medicine. He leads the Innovation For Health And Development (IFHAD) research group, with additional appointments as Honorary Consultant Physician at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (UK), Professor of Research at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Peru), and Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (USA). His work focuses on tuberculosis, health systems integration, and poverty reduction in resource-constrained settings.

Research interests span development-health integration, tuberculosis prevention/diagnosis, and equitable partnerships. His IFHAD team coordinates international collaborations across Peru, the UK, and the USA, with funding from major global health organizations.
