Dr. Carlos Sato is an Associate Professor at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) within the University of Sussex Business School. His research focuses on integrating innovation and sustainability into project management frameworks, particularly examining challenges in developing countries and global issues like climate change. He has held academic roles since 2006, teaching courses such as Managing Complex Projects and Project Management in Organisations. His professional background includes engineering roles at Siemens and Furukawa subsidiaries in Brazil, followed by consultancy work in project management and software development.
