Carlos-Miguel Pimentel

Carlos-Miguel Pimentel is a Professor of Public Law at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ), affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Political Science and the Department of Public Law. He contributes to the Versailles Saint Quentin Laboratory Public Institutions (VIP) and collaborates with Laboratoires CESDIP, DANTE, and PRINTEMPS.

Professor Pimentel has managed two ANR research contracts in political law (2009-2012, 2012-2014) and co-founded Jus Politicum, an international online journal of political law, serving as co-director until 2017. He established the Master's degree in Public Careers and Political Professions (2004-2014) and held leadership roles in academic governance, including President of the public law specialist commission (2005-2008) and chairing public law selection committees (2008-2013).

He is associated with multiple research laboratories, including Laboratoire VIP (Versailles Saint Quentin), Laboratoire CESDIP, Laboratoire DANTE, and Laboratoire PRINTEMPS, which focus on public institutions, interdisciplinary legal research, and political philosophy.
