Carlos Matute

Carlos Matute is a Full Professor in Anatomy and Neurobiology at the University of País Vasco (since 2003) and Director of the Achucarro Basque Center of Neuroscience (since 2012). His career spans neuroscience, pharmacology, and neurodegenerative disease research.

• Physiology & Neuroscience: Focused on oligodendrocyte degeneration, excitotoxicity, and neuroinflammation.
