Carlos Fernandes Silva

Carlos Fernandes Silva is a Full Professor at the University of Aveiro in the Department of Education and Psychology. He also holds an Invited Teacher position at the University of Coimbra (Faculty of Medicine) in Occupational Medicine since 2000. At the University of Aveiro, he serves as the Coordinator of PsyLab (Laboratory of Experimental and Applied Psychology) and Director of the Psychology PhD Program.

Dr. Silva's educational background includes a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Coimbra (1988-1994), postgraduate studies in Neurosciences from the University of Oxford (1984), and an Agregation in Psychology from the University of Minho (2001-2002).

His primary research focuses on biological rhythms, psychophysiology, and psychosocial factors.
