Carlos Beltrán

Carlos Beltrán is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cantabria, with research interests spanning numerical analysis, algorithms in continuous and discrete mathematics, distributions of points in manifolds, and the foundations of computational mathematics. His work has significantly advanced the understanding of numerical methods for solving nonlinear equations, including collaborative contributions to problem 17 on Steve Smale's list of mathematical challenges.
