Carlo Tramontano is an Assistant Professor at Coventry University's Centre for Global Learning. His research focuses on social cognitive dimensions such as self-efficacy and moral disengagement in contexts like workplace ethics, aggression, and cyberbullying. He holds a PhD from Sapienza University of Rome (2004) and has held roles at institutions including the Italian National Institute for Educational Evaluation and the Leonard Cheshire Disability and Inclusive Development Centre at UCL. His methodological expertise includes psychometric scale development and multivariate analysis.
Research interests span moral disengagement mechanisms, bullying prevention, and the impact of self-efficacy beliefs on behavior across educational, organizational, and criminal justice settings. He has contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and reduced inequalities through inclusive education projects.
Recent work examines remote work dynamics, parkrunner motivations, and ethical behavior in organizations. He has collaborated on projects like the LIDER leadership training program and the Maximize Diversity initiative. His 45+ publications include reviews on sexual offenders and meta-analyses on workplace self-efficacy.
