Carla Yuede

Carla Yuede serves as Professor of Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine, where she directs the Animal Behavior Core facility. Her academic appointments span multiple departments within the medical school, reflecting interdisciplinary research bridging clinical psychiatry and basic neuroscience.

Her research centers on Alzheimer’s disease mechanisms, specifically Aß metabolism, stress-related neuropathology, and learning/memory processes using transgenic mouse models.
