Carl Tollef Solberg is a Professor at the Centre for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo (permanent position since 2024), holding adjunct appointments at the University of Southern Denmark. His multidisciplinary background combines medicine (MD, University of Bergen) and philosophy (MA/BA, University of Bergen) with clinical experience in community medicine. Solberg leads the ERC-funded ETHME project (2024-2029) focusing on mortality measurement ethics.
