Carl S. Blyth is an Associate Professor of French Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin, where he also serves as Director of the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning (COERLL). He is affiliated with the Department of French and Italian within the College of Liberal Arts.
Dr. Blyth earned his Ph.D. in French Linguistics from Cornell University. His academic work spans applied linguistics, French sociolinguistics, and discourse studies, with particular focus on the intersection of language, culture, and interaction.
