Dr Carin Magnusson is a Lecturer in Health Services Research at the University of Surrey's School of Health Sciences. Her work focuses on healthcare workforce dynamics, patient safety, and governance. She holds a PhD, MSc, and BSc, and her research explores how healthcare systems regulate quality and safety through interdisciplinary studies.
Her key projects include the SEE-IT Trial (NIHR-funded), investigating video livestreaming in emergency dispatch, and comparative studies on medical emergency teams in Finland and the UK. She supervises PhDs addressing topics like school nurse mental health support and hybrid modeling in healthcare systems.
