Carey Baldwin

Carey Baldwin is a Lecturer in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. They also serve as Adjunct Faculty in Statistics and Computing at UMass Amherst. Their academic background includes a BA in Physics from Mount Holyoke College (2002) and an M.A.S. in Applied Statistics from Colorado State University (2016).

Research interests focus on Educational Technology, Algorithmic Bias, Machine Learning, and Statistical Computing. Teaching expertise spans Statistics, Python Programming, Data Analysis, and Business Applications of Python.

Awards include the Cain Family Grant (2017) and recognition through the Northampton School for Girls Instructorship (2016-2019). Prior roles include teaching Physics and Statistics at high schools like The Williston Northampton School and Bellarmine Preparatory School.
