Hui Cao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Design and Innovation at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University at Buffalo. Her research focuses on advanced materials synthesis techniques and property characterization.
- Education: PhD in Materials Science (University of Science and Technology of China, 2021)
- BSc in Metallic Materials Engineering (Hefei University of Technology, 2014)
Research Interests: Synthesis of complex oxide thin films using molecular beam epitaxy, pulsed laser deposition, and sputtering. Investigation of crystal structure, electronic structure, transport, and magnetic properties. Pioneering work in reconfigurable phase control through electrolyte gating techniques.
