Caner Göçer

Caner Göçer is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on structural assessment of buildings, seismic engineering, and environmental impacts on construction materials, particularly in the Aegean Sea region. He has led multidisciplinary investigations on earthquake-induced damages to masonry structures.

• Licentiate in Architecture (Istanbul Technical University, 1989-1993)

His research spans earthquake engineering, masonry building performance, and environmental degradation mechanisms. Publications include analyses of wind and solar radiation effects on roof structures, and field investigations of seismic damage in Turkey and Greece.
