Candace Greene is a Lecturer in Anthropology and Ethnologist in the Department of Anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History. Her research focuses on Native American art, material culture, and museum research methodologies, particularly concerning Plains Indigenous communities. She directs the NSF-funded Summer Institute in Museum Anthropology, which trains students in museum collection analysis and ethical curation practices.
