Camron D. Bryant is a Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University's Bouvé College of Health Sciences. His research focuses on mapping genetic and neurobiological mechanisms underlying addiction, eating disorders, and pain through rodent forward genetic crosses, multi-omics, and gene editing. Key projects include validating Zhx2's role in opioid metabolism, developing near-isogenic substrains for genetic analysis, and applying machine learning to 'Big Behavior' datasets for opioid withdrawal studies. Dr. Bryant holds NIH BRLE study section membership (2021-2025) and is a past President of the International Behavioural and Neural Genetics Society (IBANGS).
