Camisha Sibblis is a Professor at the University of Windsor and serves as the director of the Black Scholars Institute. Her work focuses on advancing Black scholarship and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives. She actively participates in campus events, including Black History Month celebrations and panels addressing racial discrimination.

- Supporting Black academic excellence
- Combating anti-Black racism
- Interdisciplinary EDI scholarship
- Community engagement in social justice
She has collaborated with the Windsor International Black Film Festival and played a pivotal role in establishing the Black Scholars Institute through its official launch in September 2024. Sibblis also contributes to the Humanities Research Group and serves on the Anti-Black Racism Task Force.
