Camille Kaminski Lewis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Furman University, South Carolina. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetorical Studies from Indiana University and degrees from Bob Jones University. Her research focuses on intersections of race, religion, and rhetoric in American society, with particular attention to feminist discourse in public spheres.

Her scholarly work includes four books: Romancing the Difference, White Nationalism and Faith, One Hundred Years of Women Debating the Equal Rights Amendment, and Klandamentalism. Current projects involve studies on William Jennings Bryan and Dolly Parton. She teaches Rhetoric & Strategy, Argumentation, and Public Speaking courses.
Her publications analyze topics like religious responses to the pandemic, rhetorical strategies of conservative evangelicals, and historical figures resisting the KKK. She received the 2022 John I. Sisco Teaching Award and serves as President of the Carolinas Communication Association.
