Camille Goldmon

Dr. Camille Goldmon is Assistant Professor of History at UNC Chapel Hill, specializing in 20th-century United States history, Southern history, and agrarianism. Her research examines the social and cultural history of African American farmers in the US South from the late 19th to mid-20th century, as well as histories of agrarian and rural radicalism.

She is currently revising her Mellon/ACLS-funded dissertation into a book exploring the relationship between political power and agricultural landownership. Her courses cover topics including post-Civil War US history and pop culture in American history.
