Camilla Vislie

Camilla Vislie is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Centre for Gender Research. She completed her PhD candidacy (2018-2021) under the Domestic Violence Research Program at NOVA, Norwegian Social Research.

Her research focuses on gender, sexualities, rape, domestic violence, and vulnerable youth populations. She analyzes intersections of subjectivity, social class, and systemic barriers in abuse prevention.

Recent work includes studies on violence against individuals with disabilities, municipal safeguarding systems, and grey-area sexual offences. Her publications span book chapters, reports, and conference presentations.

Vislie collaborates with the NOVA violence program and the Network for Research on Rape, Sexual Assault, and Grey Area Offences. She has contributed to national conferences on violence prevention and systemic failures.
