Camilla Gibb is a writer and academic based at Victoria College, University of Toronto, where she holds the June Callwood Professorship in Social Justice. She earned a BA in anthropology and Middle Eastern studies from the University of Toronto and a PhD in social anthropology from the University of Oxford. Gibb transitioned from academia to full-time writing in 2000 after her postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Toronto.
