Camilla Forsberg is an Associate Professor and Docent at Linköping University's Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL), within the Division of Education, Teaching and Learning (PEDI). Her research focuses on children's perspectives on bullying, LGBTQI+ youth experiences, and the sociocultural contexts of school bullying. She leads the School Bullying Research Group and collaborates with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences through the Bullab initiative.
Her academic background includes a completed doctoral thesis on children's interpretations of bullying and postdoctoral work on identity processes and gender in bullying. Current projects investigate homophobic bullying among Swedish LGBTQI+ high school students and the interplay between school structures and bullying.
Dr. Forsberg is editor of the journal Confero: Essays on Education, Philosophy & Politics and affiliated with the NERA Network of Value Issues and Social Relations in Education. Her research emphasizes ethical reflections on bullying interventions, institutional contexts, and protective measures for vulnerable student groups.
