Camilla Bidstrup Hjermitslev is a Research Fellow at Aalborg University, affiliated with the Department of Sustainability and Planning within the Technical Faculty of IT and Design. She holds an MSc in Medical Market Access and a BSc in Medicine with Industrial Specialisation, focusing on E-health, Public Health Informatics, and Digital Health Data.

Her research explores the implementation of electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs) in Danish municipalities and Nordic citizens' willingness to share digital health data. She utilizes cross-sectional study designs and health technology assessment (HTA) methodologies to evaluate the impact of eHealth tools on healthcare systems and policy decisions.
Recent publications highlight trends in E-health adoption, context-sensitive health informatics, and AI for social good. Her work bridges digital health innovation with public health policy, emphasizing patient-centered care, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare transparency across Nordic countries.
Camilla actively participates in the PLAN Junior Researchers Network and has presented her research at international conferences such as the PRO-conference and Context-sensitive Health Informatics. Her collaborative efforts span institutions in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, focusing on telehealth, citizen experience, and digital health rights.
