Camila Consiglio is a DDLS Fellow at Lund University, leading the Systems Immunology Lab within the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms of biological sex differences in immunity through multiomics and computational approaches.
Her work spans immunology, systems biology, and hormonal regulation of immune responses, with a particular emphasis on sex differences in immune-mediated diseases and infections. She has contributed to key studies on severe COVID-19 and androgen receptor signaling in immune cells.
Her recent publications include analyses of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children with SARS-CoV-2, immune monitoring in severe COVID-19, and androgen receptor regulation of myeloid and monocytic development. These studies integrate immunology, multiomics, and computational methods to address sex-biased immune responses.
