Cameron F Abrams is the Bartlett-Barry Professor and Department Head of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1995 and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in 2000. After postdoctoral work at the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research, he joined Drexel as an Assistant Professor in 2002.
- Research Focus: Molecular simulations, simulation method development, high-performance materials, protein-related kinetics/thermodynamics, and HIV-1 entry inhibitor design.
- Awards: ONR Young Investigator Award, NSF CAREER Award, 2015 AIChE Impact Award, and dual 2020 Drexel Provost and College of Engineering Career Research Awards.
- Education: BS (NCSU), PhD (UC Berkeley).
