Dr. Omar Abdelrahman is an Associate Professor at the University of Houston's William A. Brookshire Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, part of the Cullen College of Engineering. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2018–2023). His research focuses on chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and catalysis at solid catalyst interfaces.
Education:

- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Syracuse University (2016)
- Postdoctoral Research, University of Minnesota (2018)
Research Interests: Dr. Abdelrahman investigates dynamic processes in catalytic systems, with applications in energy and materials science. His work combines experimental and theoretical approaches to understand reaction mechanisms and catalyst behavior.
