Cameron Burks serves as a Senior Fellow at the National Security Institute of George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School while holding his primary role as Vice President for Global Workplace and Safety at Okta, where he directs enterprise physical security, safety operations, corporate real estate, and capital projects. Previously, he served as Vice President of Global Safety & Security at Roku and Adobe, and Deputy Chief Security Officer at Chevron Corporation, following a distinguished career as a U.S. Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent and Foreign Service officer with postings in Bangladesh, Moldova, Japan, Haiti, and Iraq.
His academic credentials include:

- Master of Science in Criminal Justice, California State University, Sacramento
Mr. Burks' research focuses on national security frameworks and cybersecurity policy development, informed by his dual expertise in diplomatic protection systems and corporate security infrastructure. His work examines sociological dimensions of identity management and criminal justice applications in physical and digital security contexts, bridging theoretical security studies with real-world implementation challenges across governmental and private sectors.
