Dr. Cameron Bassett is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at DeSales University's College of Healthcare Professions. With a dual focus on clinical practice and academia, he teaches cadaveric anatomy and therapeutic modalities while working as a physical therapist since 2016 across diverse settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy.
- Education in Exercise Physiology and Spanish at Brigham Young University-Idaho
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (2016) and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences (2021) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
His research explores neurological rehabilitation through neurodynamics, ultrasonography, and motion capture technology, particularly for Parkinson's disease patients. Dr. Bassett has served on healthcare committees at University Medical Center and DeSales University, and currently sits on the Research in Rehabilitation Advisory Board at LVHN.
As a board member of The Storyteller and the World nonprofit, he combines clinical innovation with community engagement. His teaching philosophy emphasizes anatomical understanding as foundational for effective patient treatment.
