Caleb Kelso-Marsh is an Associate Lecturer in Asian Studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA), focusing on Korean film noir and transnational cinema. He is concurrently pursuing a PhD exploring Korean filmmakers' engagement with cinematic forms from Japan, Hong Kong, and Hollywood. Previously, he developed three microcredential courses for UWA's Korean Studies program, including KOREM201-203.

Research Interests
His work examines the intersection of film noir with East Asian cultural contexts, particularly Korea's cinematic engagement with transnational influences. He also explores orientalist discourses in urban narratives, such as Blade Runner, and the role of film in cultural diplomacy between Korea and Australia.

Teaching & Projects
He teaches courses on Asian societies, popular culture, and Korean law. He led a 2021–2024 project on developing Korean language education in Western Australia, funded by the Australian government.
