Cal Volks is a Research Fellow at Monash University specializing in reproductive health and anthropology. Previously served as Director of the HIV/AIDS & Inclusivity Unit at University of Cape Town. Holds a Master's in Arts from Rhodes University (1994).
Research focuses on donor-assisted reproduction, including egg/sperm donation dynamics, cross-border reproductive travel, and ethical implications. Active in policy advising, notably contributing to Victorian Dept. of Health reforms regarding donor-conceived individuals' rights.
