Caitlín Eilís Barrett is an Associate Professor in the Department of Classics at Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences. A 2022 National Geographic Explorer, she co-directs the Casa della Regina Carolina (CRC) Project at Pompeii, a joint Italian/American excavation. Her research focuses on everyday life, religious experience, and cross-cultural interactions in the ancient Mediterranean.
