Caitlin Palmer is an Instructor in the Department of English at the University of Missouri, part of the College of Arts and Science. Her academic background includes a B.A. in English with a Journalism minor from the University of Missouri and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho, where she held the Hemingway Fellowship. She has been supported by prestigious writing programs such as the Tin House Writers Workshop and the Napa Valley Writers Conference.
Her research and creative interests focus on fiction writing and literary arts, reflected in her publications in journals like DIAGRAM, Essay Daily, and Terrain.org, as well as the print anthology This Side of the Divide: New Lore of the American West. She serves as a fiction reader for The Missouri Review and is represented by Janklow & Nesbit Associates for an upcoming novel set in the Midwest.
