Dr. Caitlin Fox-Harding is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU), specializing in Exercise, Health, and Sports Psychology. She collaborates with the Exercise Medicine Research Institute (EMRI) and coordinates programs in ECU's Exercise and Sport Science discipline, including the Singapore (PSB) program and the double degree in Exercise Science/Sport Business. Her roles include unit and course coordination, emphasizing student-centered learning.
Dr. Fox-Harding holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2019) and advanced qualifications in education from ECU (2021–2024). She has extensive experience in elite sport, including leadership roles in the Australian Fencing Federation and current presidency of FencingWA. Her research focuses on applying exercise science to improve mental health in at-risk populations, maternal health, breast cancer care, and elite athlete well-being.
Her professional affiliations include Advance HE (Senior Fellow), Exercise and Sport Science Australia, and the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia. Key projects include the HEALing Mental Health program and studies on exercise interventions for mental health and cancer patients. Supervision spans 5+ research students across PhD and Master's programs, covering maternal health, neuromuscular training, and exercise medicine applications.
