Caitlin Clements

Dr. Caitlin Clements is an Assistant Professor and Mary Hesburgh Flaherty and James F. Flaherty College Chair at the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder and rare genetic syndromes. She leads the BRAIN Lab, investigating neural mechanisms of reward processing in infants and children using EEG and eye-tracking. Her work emphasizes community partnerships and genetic underpinnings of autism, such as studies on Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and 22q11.2DS/DupS.

Education: Postdoctoral Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital; Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania; B.S. in Psychology from Yale University. She holds a multidisciplinary approach combining clinical neuroscience, developmental psychology, and genetic research.
