Cait Reid serves as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in the Division of Educational, Child, & Family Studies at Bob Jones University's School of Education and Human Services, where she teaches courses including Building Advanced Helping Skills (HuS 451) and Social Problems (HuS 304) while strengthening the social services concentration.
Her academic credentials include a B.A. in Spanish from Bob Jones University (2011) and an M.S.W. from the University of Northern Iowa (2013), with ongoing doctoral studies in Community Care & Counseling, Traumatology at Liberty University.
Reid's expertise centers on trauma-informed interventions for vulnerable populations, evidenced by her Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner certification. Her professional focus bridges clinical social work with international field experience, having served as an elementary school counselor in the Dominican Republic and collaborated with NGOs in Uganda and Colombia.
