CHEW Ling

CHEW Ling is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore (NUS), and serves as the Director of the Research & Strategic Planning Division at the Health Promotion Board (HPB), Singapore. She also holds the role of Associate Program Director for the Preventive Medicine Residency Program at NUS.

Her research spans multiple domains in public health, including epidemiology, health systems and policy, biostatistics, AI/data analytics, social and behavioural sciences, breast cancer prevention, climate and environment, infectious diseases, nutrition, and public health genomics. She contributes to strategic initiatives such as CoSTAR-HS (antimicrobial resistance), NCO (national cohorts), HIPER (health policy evaluation), and the Singapore Breast Cancer Cohort (SGBCC). She is involved in global health partnerships and occupational health programs through the WHO Collaborating Centre.

CHEW Ling oversees academic training as part of NUS's public health graduate programs, including the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health degrees. Her work integrates research, policy, and education to address population health challenges in Asia.
