CARLOS EUGENIO SAA RODRIGUEZ

Dr. Carlos Eugenio Saa Rodríguez is a Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Santiago de Compostela. He is affiliated with the Research Center in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials (CIQUS) and leads the CatOrg (GI-1603) research group focused on Organometallic Catalysis.

• Education: PhD in Organic Chemistry (1985) from University of Santiago de Compostela, thesis on Synthesis of isoquinolinic alkaloids via benzene, supervised by Dr. Luis Castedo Expósito.
• Research Interests: Organic Chemistry, Organometallic Catalysis, Alkaloid Synthesis, Molecular Materials, Chemical Biology.
