معرفی
C. Robertson McClung is a Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, Dartmouth College, and a member of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Graduate Program. His work focuses on unraveling the genetic and biochemical mechanisms of biological clocks, particularly circadian rhythms in plants.
- Education: B.Sc. from Queen's University, M.Sc. from Dalhousie University, Ph.D. from Michigan State University
- Affiliations: Fellow of AAAS and ASPB
His research explores how circadian clocks regulate gene expression and cellular physiology, with applications in crop domestication and improvement. Recent studies include chromatin interactions in rice and natural variation in Brassica rapa.
His 2020-2022 publications emphasize circadian transcriptome expansion, chromatin dynamics, and population-level biological rhythm differentiation, bridging molecular genetics and ecological adaptation.
- Scientific Awards: Fellow of AAAS, Fellow of ASPB
