معرفی
Prof. C. J. Bolech is an applied mathematical physicist specializing in theoretical Atomic-Molecular-Optical (TAMOP) and Condensed Matter & Materials (CMMT) physics. His work focuses on non-perturbative computational and analytical approaches to Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems (SCQS), including quantum impurities, heavy fermions, ultracold atomic gases, and optical lattices. He has contributed to understanding exotic superconducting states and Kondo physics in quantum dots.
- Ph.D. & M.Phil. in Physics & Astronomy, Rutgers University (2002)
- M.S. in Physics & Astronomy, Rutgers University (2000)
- Lic. in Physics, Inst. Balseiro (UNC) Bariloche (1996)
Prof. Bolech’s research spans quantum fluids, integrable systems, and entanglement. His technical focus includes bosonization, renormalization, tensor networks, and non-linear optimization. He has explored non-equilibrium transport and vortex dynamics in quantum condensates, with applications to optical lattice simulations and low-dimensional topological materials.
The trends in Prof. Bolech’s publications (2002–2013) reflect his expertise in SCQS. His work addresses quantum phase transitions, Majorana fermions, Kondo effects, and noise measurements in superconductors, often combining computational methods with analytic frameworks. Key themes include quantum dots, ultracold atoms, and non-equilibrium dynamics.
Prof. Bolech has served as Principal Investigator (PI) on grants from DARPA, the National Science Foundation (NSF), and Argentina’s ANPCyT. These projects include optical lattice simulations of correlated fermions, quantum phases of matter in optical lattices, and interaction effects in topological materials. He is a member of the American Physical Society (APS), Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
