C. Buddie Mullins

C. Buddie Mullins is a Professor and Melvin H. Gertz Regents Chair in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on catalysis, electrochemistry, and materials for energy storage, including lithium-ion batteries and solar photoelectrocatalysis. He holds a B.S. in Physics (1975) and M.S. in Engineering (1977) from UT Austin, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (1982) and Ph.D. (1990) from Caltech, with postdoctoral training at IBM Almaden. He teaches CHE 353 (Transport Phenomena) and CHE 384 (Electrochemistry).
