Büşra Tonyali

Büşra Tonyali is a Researcher in the Department of Chemistry Education at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She has been a research assistant since September 2018 in the project "Feedback in the traineeship on external representations (FiRe 2)", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Her work focuses on improving pre-service teachers' use of external representations in science education through feedback mechanisms.

She co-developed an online learning module with feedback mechanisms for secondary school chemistry education. Current research focuses on evaluating feedback effects on representational competence in teacher trainees.
