Federico Bussolino is a Full Professor of Biochemistry at the School of Medicine, University of Torino, Italy, since 1994. He has held significant leadership roles, including Deputy Rector for Translational Research (2013), Chair of the PhD Programme in Complexity in Life Sciences (2014), and former Director of the Department of Oncological Sciences (2003-2007). He leads the Laboratory of Vascular Oncology at the University of Torino and previously served as the Chair of the Molecular Angiogenesis Division at the Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment, Italy.
Research Interests: His work focuses on vascular biology, cancer progression, and molecular mechanisms of angiogenesis and cell migration. Key areas include tumor-stroma interactions, integrin signaling, and axon guidance cues in vascular remodeling.
