Buda Octavian is a Professor of History of Medicine at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and a Senior Forensic Psychiatrist at the National Institute of Legal Medicine ‘Mina Minovici’ since 2005. His career spans forensic psychiatry, medical history, and bioethics, with affiliations to numerous international societies.
