معرفی
Bryan Hunter is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Northwestern University. His research focuses on mechanistic understanding of water oxidation catalysis and sustainable energy conversion. He holds a PhD from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where he developed novel techniques using operando spectroscopies to study heterogeneous catalysts for electrocatalytic water splitting. His work aims to create earth-abundant materials for renewable energy storage.
- Education:
- BS and MS in Chemistry, Yale University
- PhD in Chemistry, Caltech
Research interests include catalytic mechanisms of [NiFe]-LDH materials, solar-driven fuel synthesis, and nanocatalyst design via pulsed-laser ablation. His awards recognize contributions to renewable energy and thesis excellence in chemistry.
- Awards:
- Demetriades-Tsafka-Kokkalis Prize (201x)
