Bryan Dunne

Bryan Dunne is a Teaching Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's Department of Astronomy within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He also serves as Director of the Campus Observatory and Director of Undergraduate Studies.

• Education: Ph.D. (2007) and M.S. (1999) in Astronomy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; B.A. (1996) in Space Physics & Astronomy and Applied Mathematics from Rice University

His work focuses on astronomy education, observational techniques, and public outreach through initiatives like the Campus Observatory and CEASAR (Connections of Earth And Sky with Augmented Reality). He has received extensive teaching recognition, including multiple entries in the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent since 2006.
